The APPG for Kurdistan in Turkey and Syria worked between 2020 and 2024 to raise Kurdish issues in UK Parliament. The Centre for Kurdish Progress worked directly with the Group to organise cultural and social events, workshops, and seminars to raise awareness of solidarity, development and the needs of the region.

In June 2021, the APPG published a significant report following a 9-month inquiry into “Kurdish Political Representation and Equality in Turkey.” This report has been instrumental in raising awareness and making key information accessible to UK policymakers. You can view the full report here.
