The London-based Centre for Kurdish Progress is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organisation founded in 2014, dedicated to advancing understanding of Kurdish issues in the UK and internationally. We provide a platform for dialogue, research and engagement around the political, cultural and social developments impacting Kurdish communities across all parts of Kurdistan and in the diaspora.

In an era marked by ongoing regional instability, geopolitical shifts, and renewed threats to democratic governance and minority rights, the Kurdish question remains as urgent and relevant as ever. Kurdish-led movements continue to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Middle East—championing democratic values, women’s liberation, ecological justice and grassroots pluralism in some of the most challenging conditions.

The Centre works to elevate these voices and efforts by organising public forums, parliamentary events, and cross-community initiatives that bring together experts, activists, policymakers and members of the public. We strive to foster informed dialogue and promote inclusive policy conversations in the UK and beyond.
